Description

- Spend an hour with Captain William Hilton and let him tell you about his life and voyages of discovery.  Captain Hilton was the commander of an expedition from Barbados in 1663 whose purpose was to aid in starting a colony in the Carolinas.  While exploring he noted an island with a high bluff that could be used as a navigational marker and named this bluff Hiltons Head.  Particpants will be able to interact with Captain Hilton, ask him questions and learn about life aboard a 17th century ship by examining reproduction artifacts and playing some of the games that were popular with mariners and passengers alike.

Cost is $15 per person (under 5 are free) and reservations are required by calling 843-689-6767 ext 223 or continuing online.
