The History Forum of the Lowcountry will proudly welcome John A. Caramia, Jr. to present this program on the Revolutionary War in the Lowcountry.  For most, the Revolutionary War period is quite obtuse in the Lowcountry.  We know of the siege of Savannah, Cowpens, Camden, and Yorktown; but do we know what really happened in the Lowcountry?  Join us for this informative and very significant chapter from our past.

John A. Caramia, Jr. received his formal education in upstate New York where he studied anthropology and history and di his doctoral work at the University of Georgia in social science education.  He worked for over 20 years at Colonial Williamsburg where he held a variety of significant managerial positions before moving to the Lowcountry
