The Camera Club of Hilton hosts Gallery Talk on the "Photography, The Art of Painting With Light" with Bob Ovelman. Photography means: The art or process of producing images by the action of light on a sensitive surface. Since the first use of a camera until now, understanding light and how to capture and process it into a viewable picture, little has changed. What has changed are the devices used to capture the light. Knowing what light is and how to use it to make better photographs requires a knowledge of how your camera sees light, how your eye sees light, types of light and how you can control it to make good photographs.The talk is for beginners through advanced photographers and is free to the public with no advance registration necessary. |
